Volume problem

I have a brand new Samsung 65” 8 series smart 4K that was just delivered by Best Buy 3 days ago.  In order to be able to hear the volume at a normal level, I have to turn it up to between 40-50.  This definitely does not seem right.  Does anyone have any solutions?  Thank you.

Re: Volume problem

go into the sound settings.  There should be somethig that controls sound level.

Re: Volume problem

There is no such setting in sound category.

Re: Volume problem

Try going into the sound settings and reset the sound.

Re: Volume problem

Thank you. I'm sure if that helped. What volume number would be considered "normal"?

Re: Volume problem

Wow. On this Samsung, it's 35-45 to get normal sound. They are sending out a technician since it's brand new. Thanks again for your help.
