Toshiba fire tv edition remote won’t respond

Yesterday I bought my 50 in toshiba fire tv edition and before going to sleep i turned off the wifi on the tv, my remote won’t won’t, i’m not sure if it’s because the wifi is off, but I can’t use the remote to turn it back on, what can i do ?
