Hi. I own a Toshiba TV with the older model. Our Netflix has not been working properly, sometimes it connects thru chromecast, sometimes it doesn't. I searched up the solution and it most of it is saying that the TV firmware should be updated. I went to the Toshiba Firmware update page, and after following the instructions for updating the firmware of the speciifc TV model, I finally arrived to the step where I had to format the USB stick to FAT32, download the firmware file and extract, paste the .prg file to the formatted USB, stick the USB to the TV (unplugged), holding the On button, and then plugging it back again. Supposedly, the TV screen is supposed to show "Update in Progress Please do not unplug your TV during this process" but about 2 seconds after the TV screen lighting up again, it instead says along the lines of "Update in Progress Software update was unsuccessful. TV is going to reboot" and stays like that.
Is there anyone who can tell me what I did wrong during the process of updating the TV's firmware?
