I am also seeing issues with the wifi scan on a 6 week old Toshiba 43" FireTV...  I have 2 routers at the house, multiple phones, TVs and laptops with no issues,,, the FireTV cannot find any wifi signals, including my neigbors...

Mine isn't even a wifi issue.  I hardwire everything possible becauee wifi is unreliable.  My tv is 2 feet from modem/router and plugged directly into it and I lose connection.  In order to restore connection I have to unplug ethernet from tv or router and plug back in.  Both of which are a pain and a wired connection should never time out and need to be reset or refreshed.  In fact the few wireless devices I do use are fine when the tv decides not to connect wired.

I have the fastest internet offered by Comcast and still am having a problem with the same issues. The tv is less than 5 months old.
What is my revourse.

Seems to be a known problem. Get "them" to do a fix/repair as no matter what you do the problem will return. I bought on Amazon with BestBuy as seller so I called both Amazon and Bestbuy and neither provided any useful help (BestBuy especially was abrupt and worthless). I called Toshiba and they did help. For a couple phone calls they made me do troubleshoot (unplug, factory reset, etc). Each call got things working but of course later the no connect problem came back (tv loses pairing with remote and requires re-pariing). Very frustrating and finally after 4 phone calls Toshiba arranged for BestBuy Geek squad to make a house call to fix the board inside TV. My suggestion is call Toshiba, explain, problem keeps returning, and request a tech come out. If that does not work they said the tv will be replaced but I did not reach that point yet. I guess could try and save frustration and spend extra cash to get an actual firestick since the actual TV part of the Toshiba seems ok and its a nice enough picture??
