After a recent firmware update, no sound from tv.
Removed everything and factory reset still no sound.
In Settings > Display and Sounds > Sound Settings is greyed out - can't click to check any options.

Thanks for joining our online community and messaging for support! My apologies on the slow response from our team. I'm concerned to hear that your TV lost all sound following a recent update. I've definitely ran into a similar issue with a Samsung TV before. Firmware updates normally have no problems whatsoever, but sometimes that's not the case, hah! Since Saturday, have you had any luck getting this resolved, or are you still experiencing the same thing?

Thanks for the reply - the issue is half resolved using work-arounds.
I have not yet figured out the correct settings to get the soundbar working, and the speakers only work with Plex and Netflix apps when i change sound settings on every video, converting the video to a different resolution or quality. Do you know of any good resources to help me pinpoint which settings are advantageous to my setup?
