I’m sorry to hear that your remote isn’t working as expected and you’ve done the simple troubleshooting things we normally advice of. Recently we received some great feedback regarding similar issues through our partnership with Toshiba. Our advanced support teams were able to share the following advice with us:
You can try to Factory Reset the Voice Remote by pressing and holding:
DPAD-left (←), back (⤺) and menu (≡) buttons for 10 seconds.
Additionally, if you were successful in resetting your TV you may need to repair your remote to your TV. You can do this with the following steps:
To pair the remote again, on the initial screen after the Factory Reset,
press and hold, for more than 15 seconds up to 2 minutes, the Home button (🏠).
Also, it’s good to note that the remote is only IR powered for the “power button” all the other keys on the remote communicate via Bluetooth. Let us know if any of those suggestions pan out for you! Or if you need additional assistance and we’d be happy to point you in the correct direction.

We recommend giving Toshiba a call at (855) 527-2411 for further assistance if you’re within your manufacturer’s warranty. It’s possible that your television’s Bluetooth may not be working if the steps noted above didn’t work for you.
