I recently bought a Toshiba 55" 4K Fire Smart TV (55LF711C20) and a Toshiba Sound Bar (TY-WSB600) combo on Boxing Day and they arrived yesterday. Setup was simple and I connected the TV to the sound bar via HDMI ARC, but there's no sound coming from the sound bar. I tested the sound bar via Bluetooth with my phone and it works fine, but I can't get it to work with the TV. I tried a different HDMI cable but to no avail. I also set the sound bar to HDMI ARC so I'm sure that's at least right.
The instructions for both the TV and sound bar were pretty vague. I tried playing with the sound options on the TV but there aren't very many options.
Are there any special settings that I should set the TV to?
I actually just came back from Best Buy and asked about my problem but the TV department staff couldn't find a working remote to access the TV menu from one of the Toshiba store display models. He just suggested I bring the sound bar and/or the TV back.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Much thanks!

Welcome to our Best Buy community forum! Getting a new TV and soundbar is a big decision, so we appreciate that you decided to come to us for this important purchase. That said, it doesn't sound like this has been the stress-free experience that we planned.
While I wish that your soundbar was working as intended in the first place, I'm glad you took the time to share this with us. Do you think the issue is with one of the products, or the set-up of your TV and soundbar?
If you think it could be the set-up, we do offer a service to have a Geek Squad Agent come out to set-up those products for you for a fee.
You mentioned that you purchased these products on Boxing Day. Did you happen to make this purchase in Canada?
