Hi there, Mmn,
Welcome to our Best Buy forum community!
As someone who is a fan of ending the day by curling up with a blanket and watching a good show, I understand how frustrating it can be when a TV stops working as intended. That's not a position we wanted you to be familiar with, but I'm glad you thought to reach out to us for help.
While I wish that unplugging the TV and power cycling had corrected the issues in the long run, I appreciate you letting me know you gave those a try. That said, if you haven't already, I highly recommend checking out our Home Theater Troubleshooting Guide. It's full of other great tips that could help correct your concerns regarding the volume.
If you're still struggling with the audio after giving those troubleshooting tips a try and it's within your one-year manufacture warranty, the next best step might be working directly with Toshiba for next steps. However, if you have a Geek Squad Protection plan and would like further support through that, you can call (800) Geek-Squad or (800) 433-5778.
Cheers,
