Getting a new TV should be a time of excitement, so I'm sad to learn that sometimes the screen is going blank unexpectedly. That's never fun, but I can imagine it's especially concerning when the TV is brand new. That said, I'm glad you said something so that I can try to help.
Have you checked all of the connections to make sure that none of the cords are lose? That's a common reason that can cause a screen to suddenly become blank like you described. After checking the cords, I recommend trying the following steps to see if they help!
- Switch your TV off and then unplug it.
- Wait a few minutes, and then plug the TV back in. Once plugged in, hold the power button for a few seconds.
- Try turning on the TV again.
If that doesn't do the trick, I recommend trying another HDMI cable to see if that helps. If you still are having the screen suddenly become blank, can you elaborate on what that means? Does the screen turn black, but you can still hear sound? The more details you can provide, the better I can look into what might be the cause.
