Everytime I try to scan my cable channels it picks up 4 channels and gets to 2percent scan and the TV restarts. I have my cable line going to the TV directly with no cable box just like my other TVs Idelect the correct input and select how I want it to scan. First I chose digital only and I got nothing and then I chose cable and like I said it picked up 4 channels and the TV reset and goes back to the home screen.

We want watching TV to be a joyful and relaxing experience, but I can understand how that would be hard to do when your TV isn't operating as expected. That would concern me as well, but I'm glad you took the time to share this with us so we can review it further.
Based on what you told me, I think it would be a good idea to check out our Home Theater Troubleshooting Guide, and give those steps a try, as it might just be a software issue causing the disconnect.
If your TV is still running into those concerns after trying those out, I'd like some more info so I can look into this further. Have you always run into this problem when connecting this TV to channels, or did it just start occurring out of the blue?
