I own a new Optima w/DLP projector and screen. The unit does not have a built in tuner. Temporarily, I've been using an old vcr to change channels and view programming. However the old vcr doesn't receive digital channels. I'm hooked up to standard cable tv (no box). I dont wish to use a cable or satellite box as I need to be in sync with other digital tvs in the same room. I've tried a terrestrial receiver box but it only works with over the air signals. (Not the cable company signal)
My thought is: Is there a dvd player with a built in digital tuner? I cant seem to find one. And also, would it work? Thanx for any suggestions you may have.
