I've used this Toshiba Fire TV for about 7 months now with no problems. But last night, after a power outage that lasted 5 hours, I lost first my wifi connection, which I was able to regain later; and then this afternoon I noticed that my TV channels were limited to Channels 2-12.  My cable provider gives us analog channels, which was about 111 channels. Now, when I scan analog channels, I only get 11 channels. What else can I do?  I used to get 111 channels.

Having a power outage is never ideal, but I can imagine it's even more frustrating when the power is back up and running, but your TV isn't working like it used to. I know I'd be anxious to get my channels back if in your shoes, so I'm glad you reached out to us for help.


Have you checked out our article Home Theater Troubleshooting Guide? If not, I recommend giving it a look as those tricks help with a variety of TV concerns that come up. 


That said, if you give those a try and you're still not able to access the number of channels you could before the outage, it might be a good idea to talk to your cable provider in case the issue is on their end.
