Speaker cords

Dear Customer Service,

I'm interested in your stereo speakers and need to know if they're compatible

I'd like to use them for my five-disk CD player.  On the back of the stereo are two holes, white and red, labelled left and right.  It appears that they need one of the smaller male jacks.  The advertised speakers you have doesn't have a picture of the connecting cords.

Are your Polk speakers compatible with my stereo system?

I surely would appreciate your advice.

many thanks,

Re: Speaker cords

The speakers pictured are unamplified, so you will need a receiver or amplifier to drive the speakers. Your CD player only delivers a line level signal via the RCA connectors you describe. If you want to avoid putting in an amplifier, try looking at amplified speakers such as computer speakers.
