Hi there, TronBosse,
Welcome to our Best Buy community forum!
As someone who likes to unwind by watching TV, I know that having a working TV can play a big role in day-to-day life. That's why it makes me sad to hear that you're in this position.
While I'm impressed with how many steps you have tried to troubleshoot your TV, I can imagine how discouraging it is that they didn't correct the issues. That's not what we want to hear, but I'm glad you came to us for support.
Could you share what model of a Sony Bravia TV you have so I can look into this further?
Cheers,

Hi there, TronBosse,
Thanks for sharing the model number with me. When you say that your TV suddenly stopped working, can you be more specific? Will the TV not turn on? Do you get sound, but no picture? The more details you can provide, the better I can look into this.
Cheers,

Sony has a firmware update for this but the TV won't do it throught the settings. You have to use a USB drive.
It's Firmware update to v6.3624
This forum won't let me give you the URL but go to the Sony Support site and search for it.
I'll try spelling it out.
