Smart TV. and COMCAST

we at the latest l_g curved 4555 inch t_v that is smart on the latest comcast voice activated box lately every morning when you get up everything is frozen t_v won't come on comcast phone come on in all day house is supposed to h_d_m_i connection have to turn the box of to make sure data can we connect again and take several minutes I have a feeling something is going on with the smart t_v that is feeding back into the internet and freezing my comcast box anyone ever experienced this before

Thanks for seeking help here on our forums for your LG Curved TV and Comcast hiccup. 


I've never hear of a TV back feeding back into an internet connection causing it to freeze your cable box. Can you please ensure that your TV, and cable box are both up to date? Freezing issues are a common indicator that a firmware update needs to be performed. 


Have you reached out to Comcast directly to ensure that you're using the correct box for your new TV? Sometimes they will be able to provide a few troubleshooting steps since they know their cable boxes best. 


Often times the quality of the connection can be an issue too. When was the last time you updated your HDMI cable? If you haven't purchased a new one in the last 5 years, then I'd recommend trying a out a newer one.
