Bought this tv, not even 3 years ago. Around September of 2016, and it first started doing the rainbow color of death screen. NOW, its just shutting on and off repeatedly every 2 seconds when I leave it "on". Conveniently, my Geeksquad ended last year in August.
This is the second Samsung tv to do this. I have no idea what to do. Does Best Buy do trade ins? Cause this sucks. I have a paper weight that I spent my hard earned money on.

Currently, we don’t offer trade in options for televisions. You’re more than welcome to check out our recycling options here. Have you discussed the potential repair costs of the TV with Geek Squad? They’d be best positioned to articulate if a repair would be fruitful or if selecting a new television would be more cost effective.

Yes, I spoke with GeekSquad, and TV associates at my local Best Buy. They basically told me that I am screwed. GeekSquad wants more money before they can even check the tv. And then said there is no gurantee it can be fixed because its older, and the parts might be hard to find.
The tv associate at the local Best buy, basically pushed a new tv on me. Which, I had no choice, since I needed one. This time I went with a Sony. The Samsung has gone to the garbage.
You can close this ticket/thread. Its absolutely disgusting that the Samsung tv didn't last 3 years.... And no one could help me. Including Samsung.
For what its worth, I bought a 5 year Geek Squad for this Sony tv.
