Samsung Tv & Sony Sound bar not working correctly

 

I have a Samsung QN49Q60RAFXZA TV & a Sony HT-CT380 Sound bar.

I have a HT-CT380 sound bar & when I play music through it via Bluetooth, Spotify, ect it sounds Great, But when playing regular tv, Netflix, Hulu, ect through it the sound quality is very very poor.
The Tv sounds much better.Iv"e been having this problem for a few years now.
I reset the sound bar & tv many many times now & my tv has the latest update, I have it hooked up through ARC, & tried the other ways to hook it up, HDMI, optical, Bluetooth ect. but it doesn"t make a difference Iv"e been having this same problem for a few years now..

 

The sound bar works great on my other tv but with My Samsung QN49 tv the sound is very poor & low volume, If I do a sound test from the tv's menu the sound bar sounds great & streaming music sounds great but everything else sounds very poor,

 

Is this a Sony problem or a Samsung problem ? Everyone I have talked to says the sound bar should work ( It's just a speaker & should be campatable,

Thanks for joining our community here on the Best Buy Forums. I enjoy watching my favorite shows on Netflix and Hulu too, so I can understand wanting to ensure your TV sounds great no matter what you are watching.
