Well I have successfully tried the Dane1 solution of turning off power for a moment, then back on,

Find menu,

Go to Broadcasting

then go to Guide and press that.

Up it comes again.

I have had to used it periodically as Guide seems to last for about month then goes again. Just glad there is a solution at least there was for my model of Samsung tv.

It doesn’t help considering most are complaining about Samsung’s inbuilt tuner and EPG NOT a cable provider

A lot of their features don’t work anymore. we used to use Skype now all the useless camera can get used for is to be spied  on by Samsung or the Govt.

Dont quite understand that Samsung ( from whom in my original queries I got no real sense from by the way) is saying the guide has been discontinued. My guide is there. Yes I have to do the procedure explained earlier of turning tv  off, going to Broadcasting from menu selection and then to Guide and pressing that ...every so often. Did it again yesterday in fact and the guide is there....
