So I’ve decided to give the R635 a try. If i decide it’s good enough for my purposes, great. I’ll keep it and pocket the savings. If it’s not, I think I’ll take advantage of the 365 day return policy Best Buy has for TCL tvs right now and take a look at the 2021 tvs when the prices come down a bit later in the year. My question is this: does BB require a box when you return your tv? I’ve looked through their website, and maybe I’m blind, but I’m not seeing a definitive answer. It would suck to have to keep a massive 75” tv box around the house for months to take advantage of the return window, so I’m hoping the answer is no. Anyone have experience with this?

Welcome to the Best Buy Forums!
I like to make sure my electronics are going to fit my needs by trying them out first as well. With the Best Buy Return & Exchange Promise you don't need to worry about being stuck with an item that doesn't work for you. While it is appreciated when items are returned in their original packaging, it is not always necessary for it to be included. Returning the television without the box should not be a problem.
