Returning a TV to Best Buy

So I’ve decided to give the R635 a try. If i decide it’s good enough for my purposes, great. I’ll keep it and pocket the savings. If it’s not, I think I’ll take advantage of the 365 day return policy Best Buy has for TCL tvs right now and take a look at the 2021 tvs when the prices come down a bit later in the year. My question is this: does BB require a box when you return your tv? I’ve looked through their website, and maybe I’m blind, but I’m not seeing a definitive answer. It would suck to have to keep a massive 75” tv box around the house for months to take advantage of the return window, so I’m hoping the answer is no. Anyone have experience with this?

Re: Returning a TV to Best Buy

Hello, j1ulian147,

Welcome to our online community.

Purchasing a new television is exciting, and I am sure that you want to enjoy your tv without having to be concerned about storing and keeping the packaging. Good news, should you need to return the TCL R365, you do not need to have the box. The return should however include all of the items that came with the television, stand, remote, and power cord.

I hope this information is helpful, and do not hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions or concerns. We appreciate you choosing Best Buy for your television purchase.

Kind Regards,
