I’m sorry to hear about your TV! Noticing a pixel not changing and stuck is certainly disappointing. Thanks for posting to us for some advice.
A pixel stuck on red isn’t technically dead yet, but stuck. A dead pixel is when it would be black. Fixing the red pixel may require an actual service, or replacing the full screen. Either of these options not be cost effective. You’re outside of your warranty with the manufacturer, correct? I did some further research on this matter this morning, and discovered that some customers get results by leaving the TV off for 24 hours or using a screen-fixing software. There are options out there that recommend applying pressure or heat to the stuck pixel, but I’d be unable to recommend those options since damage could occur.
You’ll have to let us know what options you try, and if they work for you! We look forward to hearing from you.
