Hello,
I am having the exact issue with my Toshiba 50", turns on with Toshiba screen then immediately shuts off. Have you resolved your issue and if so, may I ask how so I can try? I've unplugged everything, left unplugged for 5 min but nothing. Tried unplugging overnight, nothing.
Appreciate any help you can provide.
Thank you
Tess

Hi there, Tess,
Welcome to our Best Buy forum community! We know that having a TV stop working is a big deal, so while I wish that you weren't in this position, I'm glad you reached out to us for support.
I know that I would be concerned if my TV immediately shut off when I tried to turn it on, but I've got some tricks that I hope will help. Have you checked out our Home Theater Troubleshooting Guide to see if any of those tips correct the issue?
If you give them a try, but are still running into the same issue, please share with me the model of your TV so I can look into other possible steps.
Cheers,

I also have a toshiba 55l621u that just started having the exact same problems - It can't just be coincidence.
Did Toshiba push out a software update that is bricking TV's? Are we the tip of the iceburg?
It's tax time bring everyones TV down so they gotta buy a new one?

Hello, ErichBeñge,
Welcome to our Best Buy forum community! I know how important my TV is to me, so I can imagine that you feel the same way. Having your unit stop working like normal is never ideal, but I'm glad you took the time to share this with us.
If you feel like these issues started happening after an update, I recommend giving Toshiba a call at (800) 457-7777, to see what possible solutions they might have.
Cheers,
