Hey,
I have a question regarding the 32" Samsung LCD listed above. With the TV and the volume down to low or even 0, I can hear a light noise coming from the TV. Is this sound normal, or not. I don't know if this is common with LCD's or not or are they supposed to be completely silent. The TV works fine but this a concern that I have...
I know, I am very picky.....

its not the speakers, tried mute and down to zero...If you go right behind the TV and move your ear right next to the rear cabinet of the TV near where
the power cord is, this is where the faint noise is. Also put your ear right up in front of the LCD screen and you will hear it too, near where the name is printed "Samsung". Im not sure if there is supposed to be a noise or not, again the TV works great, both picture and sound...
I have a very small room that this TV is in and it is very easy to pick up any small noises, this may be the way that the TV is made, it was just manufactured in December 2008.
Is yours the exact model? When was it manufactured?

I will bet it is a cooling fan.

maybe it might be the power supply in the TV, again it works fine both audio and video!!!
I can hear it like mentioned easier if you go really close to the back of the TV or put your ear up right next to the actual screen....
Maybe the TV is supposed to do this, it doesn't really sound like a fan blowing, more of a faint buzzing sound
