For those who have ordered a TV by mail (or a VIZIO OLED if you want to get into specifics), how is Best Buy's shipping of TVs? Is it delivered in the TV box or is there an outer box around the TV's box?

Thanks for reaching out to us on Best Buy Forums. Buying a new TV is exciting, and I can understand wanting to know how it will arrive. Due to the large size of these TVs, they will be shipped in their TV boxes (as they are shipped from the manufacturer).

Point of note. For a TV I would always suggest going into the store to make arrangements. Sometimes the online delivery can be quirky and not show you any delivery dates.
I got my new TV last summer. I don't know if all store operate the same. But my local store has their own delivery and installion crew and truck.
They brought it in the box. I opted for installation. I have read to many stories of people transporting thier own TV's and claiming it was broken when they took it out of the box. I asked the delivery guy about that and he said in 16 years of delivering for BB he has only ever seen one TV that did not work when they set it up.
They installed it, verifed it worked as it should, offered to help me program it. They cleaned up after themselves. I asked to keep the box and packaging and they complied.
They told me what day they were coming. They verifed via text and a phone call by one of the delivery guys 2 days before with an approximate time frame. They called again the day of delivery and gave me a better time window.
Then they called as they were leaving the previous delivery and gave me a 10 minute ETA and they were here in 8 minutes

When I bought a new Westinghouse 32 inch TV for the bedroom the item shipped in the original packaging. That was 2 years ago and it still works to this day. Larger TVs are a different story they are very bendable and fragile and the wrong handling will doom you to oblivion with irreparable damage.
Special considerations should be made for televisions that don't really fit in your vehicle, even if you make it work by tying it down in a truck.

@kaisehai288 I have wondered that as well.
For my store the delivery guys are all certified Geek Squad and they do in home repairs for things that they can repair.
I don't think all stores have their own truck or delivery. It may depend on the size of the community and availability of services.
My local store will deliver and setup anything the store carries and they have a pretty good range. They do charge by the mile if you are further away.
I like it because it really gives me piece of mind.
I have only had laundry machines and my TV delivered. But it was a good experience.
