Hello, Joel_V,
Discovering that you new soundbar is turning on by it’s self is bit concerning. I know I’d be a bit baffled if this occurring at my house, but I’m sure there’s a reason why it’s happening. Thank you for posting to our community looking for our advice.
How do you have your TV connected to the bar? Also, what model do you have? I just want to ensure I’m pulling up the correct model. I’d be happy to see what troubleshooting advice we can offer on this matter once I hear back from you.

y, Joel_V,
Thank you for your reply! I apologize for my tardy response as I was out of the office the last couple of days.
Can you please try to connect the Command Bar is if your TV didn’t have ARC capabilities? This may improve the issue. Additionally, while reviewing the features of the Command Bar it appears it has a connection of Bluetooth not WI-FI. This means that anyone with Bluetooth, could access it and control it. Resetting the Command Bar again may be the best option, as it would require the bar to “forget” any previously synced devices. This would prompt the individual who’s watching the talk show to re-sync causing them to pause and double check the connection.
