Please help! Will I get burn in on my OLED?

Will I get burn in if I watch 1 hour of news and 2 hours of gaming (same game) every day? I also watch twitch with a static box where the host is for a few hours. I also watch other varied content but I’d say 70% of the time it’s News or Twitch. I’m considering returning the tv if I would get burn in...

Re: Please help! Will I get burn in on my OLED?

Yes you can get Pixel Burn in on OLED TV's

As far as returning it for this. LED TV's will get burn in as well

From what I have read they are not as susceptable as other Technologies, but they are suseptable.

However, they do have a pixel/panel refresher. Please note the warning message

Steps to run Panel refresh manually (Sony)

WARNING! Don't perform Panel refresh more than once a year as it may affect the panel's useable life.

  1. On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
  2. Select  Settings.
  3. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
    • Select Display & Sound → Expert panel settings → Panel Refresh.
    • Select Display → Expert panel settings → Panel Refresh.
    • Select Picture & Display  Expert panel settings → Panel Refresh.
