Ongoing Volume Problems with Toshiba 50" 4K Smart TV - Fire TV Edition

Product: Toshiba 50" 4K UHD HDR LED Smart TV (50LF621C19) - Fire TV Edition


Summary of Problems:

1. Volume reducing after skipping intro via netflix/amazon prime video etc.

2. Volume randomly going up very quickly after turning up volume a couple notches on the remote. 

This has been ongoing since I recieved the product in Late November/Early December and it's very frustrating.

I've reset the tv, disabled misc settings as advised online (like the surround sound by dolby or whatever it's called), changed my batteries in my remote and nothing at all has helped it even briefly. 

The ONLY thing that works for problem #1 is to pause the show and unpause it and the sound comes back to normal every single time. If I do not do the above solution and let the show play, the next episode will have the louder volume back.


The second problem stops once I start turning the volume back down manually.


These are both issues I have seen online and there is no fix whatsoever, nor does the problem seem to be acknowledged. I'm honestly getting really frustrated with this, as I imagine many other people are too.
