The apartment I live in does not allow screws to be inserted into the walls, everything has to be adhesively attached. Since this TV without the stand is very very light in weight is double backing tape with Velcro an option to mount the TV on the wall? I wont be using heavy cords which may weigh it down.
The only other option I have is to buy a stand for a mini TV but don't see that happening anytime soon.

Hey hockeycanuckjc,
I would not suggest mounting any TV to the wall with tape and velcro.
Thanks,

I would not suggest mounting a TV with adhesive and or velcro.
I would just get an inexpensive small stand that can bear the appropiate weight.. I put my TV on a stand becuase where I wanted to put it was a non load bearing wall.
That and a stand can be dual purpose, i.e. cable box, roku, console holder etc...

Hey hockeycanuckjc,
Have you thought about purchasing a TV Stand that has a mounting bar attached to it? It provides you the same look as a mounted TV without attaching anything to the wall.
Here's a link to some on BestBuy.com!
I personally have this one.
Like Allan said, we'd never recommend to hang a TV with velcro on your wall.
Hopefully you've located another alternative, or you can look into this one.
Kindly,
