Would there be any obvious reason why I'm no longer getting any TV/Netflix sound through my receiver via ARC?
I have not changed any of the connections, but now when I switch on the amp I just get picture, but no sound?

We want you to get the most out of your TV and receiver, so it hurts me to hear that you're running into difficulty with the sound when trying to watch something on TV or Netflix. That sounds far from ideal, but we're glad you let us know so we can try to help!
That said, can you give the following a try?

After doing what @Elle-BBY suggested.
Go into your TV menu and make sure HDMI Arc is enabled. Check the receive settings as well.
I have to suggest this as well.
Make sure the volumn on your TV is not turned all the way down, and the receiver.
Make sure somehow the cable did not get pulled out.
Try using a different HDMI cable. This is not a likely cause but it could be.
