Recently purchased a tablet from you guys and now I'm looking for the best/most practical route to stream movies, etc from it to my Sony HDTV that I got right b4 the whole smart TV thing was a thing. So it has numerous hdmi slots, but internet access is thru my PS3. I'm looking to either get a fire stick to stream terreranium to TV or is there a better movie/show app? Roku for instance, Consider me a caveman when it comes to modern technology and as weathy as 1 as well so not looking to drop too much into it.

I would recommend a ChormeCast over a Roku or Firestick.
If your tablet uses Android you can get the chromecast app for it.
Your streaming device will require internet connection. but it can use WiFi or your better option is ethernet to the Chromecast.
I also have a Roku and it works excpetionally well for NetFlix and Amazaon Prime streaming.
I have these devices connect to my pre-smart TV as well

I have internet, just wondering which way to go W/the streaming.Especially with all the craziness going on with/terrarium as of late. So, with the Chromecast,or whichever 1 I choose everything comes with the setup right? I hate waiting for it to arrive and when it gets here I'm missing something that ends up making me wait even more. U no what I'm talking bout? I have an Android tablet that has mirroring capability, internet,a TV. So all ild need would be the stick/screenbeam USB right?

Hi there, Branded,
Welcome to our community. I cut the cord a few years ago myself and now stream most of my favorite shows on a variety of online platforms. It's saved me quite a bit of money in the long run, and it's honestly far more convenient to load content within an app than to scroll through DVR recordings as I did in the past.
@bobberuchi has offered some excellent advice here, and I can really only underscore his recommendation of adding on a streaming device such as a Chromecast, Roku, or Amazon Fire TV Stick. To answer your most recent question, since you already have a mirroring-enabled tablet, an internet connection, and compatible TV, this should be the last piece of the puzzle you need.
I hope this is helpful! Let us know if you have any other questions, anytime.

The streaming devices plug into an HDMI port on your TV.
I have my routeer under my TV on a shelf in my TV stand. that allowes me to plug ethernet cables directly into my Roku and Chromecast. You would need to buy a device that has that capability.
Sometimes you can cast things to the Roku.
For casting to the Chromecast we can use my Google Pixel, my old Samsung Galaxy S6, an iPad. Pretty much any device that can cast.
