LG TV Black screen Audio OK

I have an LG model 32LB5600. Screen is black but audio is oK. I unpluged it to try and reset it. I checked the connections. Any advised would be appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to our community! I’m sorry to hear that your TV isn’t working as expected anymore. We’d be happy to see what further advice we can share with you.

 

Have you checked our troubleshooting guide here? It suggests some additional steps you could potentially try. However, it sounds like your TV may have something wrong with the internal components if you're only getting sound and no picture.

Yhanks for the reply. I did some trouble shooting without any success. I scraped it and bought a Samsung. That's the second LG that went out on me in the last few months I replaced both with Samsungs. I never had a problem with Samsungs. I now have 5 Samsung TVs between my home and cottage. I also have 1 LG .

Hey, lmmahlik,

 

Samsung televisions are such great quality and tend to be standing up to the test of time. Personally, I have an original Sharp AQUOS that I’m thankful it turns on without an issue every time! The Geek Squad Protection Plan just ended on it, so if an issue would come up, it’d get recycled without a question. When the day comes to replace it though, I’ve got my eye one of the Samsung’s from the QLED line-up. I hope you’re enjoying your new television!
