Anybody here can give me some advice please?
I bought this TV two months ago. I few days ago, I found the screen start flicking intermittently. Today, when I was watching TV channel the screen evern rotated fast from up to the bottom as well as flicking very very fast. End up, I found a black circle growing at the left bottom corner of the screen and I could smell something was burning. I unplugged the TV instantly and smelt at the black spot on the sceen and I concluded that the screen was self burnt internally.
I read many topics here knowing that Bestbuy won't let me to return the item. Then I made a request to LG for a repair. Do you guys think that LG will give me a replacement? I don't think the cost to fix it is lower than a replacement.
I have made many purchase from BestBuy but I am very very disapointed this time!

Eek! Smelling a burning aroma coming from your TV is a scary situation. Thankfully you thought fast to unplug your LG 43” 4K TV. It’s discouraging to hear that you may have received a faulty unit.
The way you described the incident it sounds like something internally went wrong with your TV. Do you have it plugged into a surge protector? If you didn’t large volts of electricity can cause similar issues.
Have you tried to utilize LG’s Chat feature to see what exactly they’d be able to assist you with under the warranty? Often times they’d be able to locate your warranty for you, and answer your questions.
Upon purchasing your LG TV did you purchase the Geek Squad Protection Plan? If you did you may be eligible for a repair.

I contacted LG and a technician already called me for the repair. I think they are coming over here for an inspection. I don't think reparing it is a choice as there is a prone to another fire. In addition, part of the plastic frame was burnt. I think the best solution is a replacement but I am surprised that BestBuy only offers a 15 days return period. I have no more confidence on buying from BestBuy. Yes. The fault is not on BestBuy but a longer return period is a Hassle Free buying experience like the other stores provide. Even finally LG will replace a new TV for me, I still free frustrated. If BestBuy will give me a replacement, it is hassle free and I will definitely buy again.

All my TVs are plugged into surge protectors! It is a hassle to deal with LG even this products is under warranty. It has been only two months! Also, only 15 days return period offered by BestBuy. The shortest return period in the market. The best solution of this special case is the Bestbuy get me a replacement and Bestbuy deals with LG for the reimbursement. It wil be hassle free! I think I wont' buy again from BestBuy!

Just occured around 2 months. The technician inspected it a few weeks ago and said the panel itself caught fire and schedule to be replaced at the end of this month.
I got 2 LG TV at home and I won't buy anty more LG TV. I am going to buy another one and will pay more for a SONY. Japanese TV can last over 10 years with no problem.
If any one who know any LG TV also has panel caught fire, please let me know. Maybe we could file to product safety department for a recall.
