We want you to enjoy your Nintendo Switch and Toshiba 32" Fire TV, but I can imagine that's getting hard to do when the screen gets blurry whenever you try to hook it up to your switch.
It sounds like you've tried a lot of great steps, so I'm sad to hear that none of them cleared up the issue. I know that unplugging everything and then plugging it back in, along with switching to the ARC input has resolved a Nintendo Switch situation like this in the past.
Can you give that a try to see if that does the trick?

At this point, it sounds like it's something about this specific model that is not communicating with the Nintendo Switch as intended. Please contact Toshiba, who can be reached by calling 1 (800) 457-7777. They would be the best contact, so they can be aware of this concern when trying to hook-up a Nintendo Switch to their Fire TV, as well as provide you with next steps for trying to find a solution.

Although I wish I had a better answer, as I mentioned on this post earlier, this concern does seem to be specific to this Toshiba model, so we recommend contacting them for next steps. You can work with Toshiba by calling 1 (800) 457-7777.

I'm having the exact same issue. Worked since November, then poof, its blurry on Toshiba 32" fire tv no matter what I do.
Calling Toshiba for TVs manufactured after 2015 is: (855) 527-2411
Nintendo customer support was not helpful for this issue.
I'll post if I find a fix, and hope others will do the same.
