Insignia Fire TV NS-32F202NA23 audio-only mode?

Does the NS-32F202NA23 have the option to turn off the screen but keep the audio playing?

If so, how deep in the menus is this feature located, and can it be added to "Quick Settings" if not already there?

TV will be used in a bedroom, and we would like to have the option of starting Spotify and turning off the screen, so we can darken the room.

I think that maybe an Amazon Echo Show would be a better fit to be honest with the bedroom as it serves many purposes beyond audio streaming. You could also Alexa to play a movie bedside if you cant sleep and so forth.

Hello, sparhawksdotcom,

Thanks for joining us here on the community forums. I am unaware if any tv has this option to turn off the screen and continue audio. I would agree with hockeycanuckjc and advise to look at an Amazon Echo Dot or a Google Home system. Both of these provide music and many more options all throughout your house. They can connect to other devices as well.

Our current Sharp TV has this option, but is quite old and is dying, but we aren't finding any current models smaller than 60" that have this feature. Our living room Sony Bravia even has a dedicated remote button to do this, but again is 6+ yrs old.
