Hey there, taina348,
Welcome to our Best Buy forum community!
As someone who enjoys ending my day by putting on a good show, I can understand how stressful it would be for your Fire TV to suddenly stop connecting to your television as intended. That's not the experience we wanted for you, so we appreciate that you came to us for help.
Could you please share what model of an Amazon Fire TV that you have so I can take a deeper look into why you might be receiving that error?
Cheers,

taina348,
Thanks for sharing that with me. After reviewing that model, you should be able to reset your TV to factory settings by doing the following steps
Once your TV has turned back on, it should go back to factory settings. If the remote has stopped working for you to scroll to those options, please replace the batteries, try pointing the remote at different corners of the TV, and remove any objects that are in front of the TV, as they could be interfering your remotes ability to communicate with the TV.
For further troubleshooting steps with this model, I recommend checking out the Toshiba LED 32LF221U19 manual.
If you're still having trouble with your TV connecting to Amazon Cloud after returning your TV to factoring setting, we recommend calling Toshiba at 1 (800) 457-7777 for further support.
Cheers,

I have exactly the same problem that you describe. I just bought the TV today at Best Buy. We had to do a factory reset to start setting it up all over and it remains frozen on the language choice screen.
