what is your brand and model of TV?
Which PS do you have?
Does it only do it when using your PS?
Try using a different HDMI input.
Try disabling HDCP
Are you trying to push a higher resolution to the TV then it can support.

Hey, YoungSauceyJam,
Welcome to our forums! It's disappointing to hear you've been having some issues with your TV recently, as I imagine the dark screen you've described makes it difficult to do any gaming.
If you're still having issues with the display of your TV, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can take that may resolve the issue. First and foremost, if you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend power cycling your TV. To do so, you'll need to follow these steps:
If this still doesn't resolve the issue, you may need to reset your TV to its original factory settings. Most can be reset using the Menu options called out in the owner's manual, or by following the steps outlined on the TV manufacturer's website.
If these steps still do not resolve the issue, I recommend connecting with the TV manufacturer to explore what other troubleshooting options may be available.
Regards,
