Convert my insignia 120v to 220v

Anyone have tips on converting my insignia Model: NS-48D510NA17SKU: 4807700 to 220 v as we are moving overseas. Do they make an extra ac plug that automatically converts it,? Or does anyone recommend a transformer ?

Re: Convert my insignia 120v to 220v

Hello Dereknelson00,

Thank you for posting regarding your upcoming move. Please know all products sold at Best Buy are intended for use in the US.

Converting a higher volt to a product that's not manufactured to handle the higher waves isn't something that is recommended. It may be best to look into other alternatives.

Kindly,

Re: Convert my insignia 120v to 220v

I've opened the back panel and the main power board says 100-240V 50/60Hz. The fuses also have 220V written all over their plastic cover. If I use my US samsung's TV example which had the same script on it's main inside board and worked perfectly with 220V without power converter when brought over to Europe. I guess insignia would work as well
