Comcast compatible TV adapter boxes

I am tired of being bled dry by Comcast. They just raised the rental for their non-HD boxes and I'm sure there is a product out there that'll do the same thing.  Any assistance in identifying them will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Re: Comcast compatible TV adapter boxes

The issue is you are going to need a decoder for the Comcast signal.

I would suggest taking a look at streaming servcie like You Tube TV or Hulu.

Re: Comcast compatible TV adapter boxes

Hey there, blueeagle65,

Welcome to our community.  Cutting the cable is something lots of folks are doing to save money and focus on the shows they really love.  While you’d need to reach out to Comcast to discuss compatible equipment with your existing cable plan, we have a few resources that should hopefully prove useful in your quest to save money with your entertainment setup.

One of the best options is to purchase a streaming device as @bobberuchi suggested.  You can also purchase an antenna and stream select local and national channels, usually in HD.  I’d recommend perusing the below resources to get a better idea of what works best for you, your budget, and your existing devices.
