Thank you for posting on our forums regarding your experience. Not being able to change the settings on the television is not ideal, and I can understand wanting this addressed. Please allow me to review settings on television.
I do want to let you know that some applications have their own dedicated close captioning settings that are not affected by the television settings and would need to be adjusted through the application.

Adjusting the settings for close captioning will be under accessibility under the television settings. Let me know if you locate it and have adjusted your settings.

I would recommend reaching out to our Geek Squad at (800) 433-5778 for phone support or by chatting with an agent by visiting this link: https://www.bestbuy.com/services/remotesupport.
I can also set up an in home appointment, however if the agent goes out there and determines its not a television issue there will be a $99 fee.
