Have purchased a 32in insignia fire tv. Have not been able to get Alexa to change channels from the cable box. Alexa works fine onother options.

Controlling your TV with your just your voice is certainly cool! Smart home features are some of my favorite and I’m excited how seamlessly technology can integrate with our lives. Thank you for posting to our community to share that you’re having issue using Alexa with your Insignia Fire TV. I’d be happy to see what light I can shed on this for you.

Have you tried the troubleshooting listed on Amazon’s Support pages?  I highly recommend checking this one and this one. Let us know if those setup guides and troubleshooting one doesn’t work out for you. We’d be happy to see what other suggestions we might be able to make for you.
