Which is the better place to buy from if price, shipping date and everything else is the same? I've been out of the buying game for a while and not sure if there is a benefit from one to the other. The only difference is the protection plan. GS is $80 and Amazon is like $180. So I guess is if everything is similar which one is the better option?

Of course I always love shopping around to get the best deals and figure out what route makes the most sense. As a customer and Best Buy employee, I would have to say that I am pretty partial to shopping at Best Buy. I always have great experiences when I have a question, or when I need help picking something out. 

As I would rather not have to ship a product to be checked out, I enjoy the ease of walking into a Best Buy store when I need to use my Geek Squad Protection plan. For my major appliances and larger items, I like knowing that Geek Squad is there to assist in getting me back up and running.
