I have a two year old 50" Insigna that I was watching today and it stopped picking up the antenna siganl. Works great on the HDMI. I have tried resetting the tv. Any thoughts on what could be wrong with it and how much it would cost.

Hello embroid000,
Thank you for posting regarding your Insignia TV having issues picking up local channels over the air.
The device that allows your TV receive the signals is called a tuner. If your tuner did go out you may be able to purchase a Digital TV Converter box, and connect it via Coax Cable to your TV. Realistically, the signal would be received by the turner in converter box, and feed the signals directly into your TV.
Here's an Insignia Option: Insignia Digial TV Converter
I hope that works for you!
Best Wishes,
