50 inch Insignia, Video not working

I have a 3 year old insignia tv... I turn on the tv and cable, everything is fine then a couple minutes later the video goes out.  I'm still able to hear the audio but no video at all.  I tried it with my cable box, DVD player, and gaming system but it still has the same problem.  Its an HDMI connection.

Hi Cliffja4, 

 

The issue you're describing sounds like it may be an issue with HDMI port it's self. Did you check to see if that's the only HDMI port your TV has? Or did it affect all the ports? 

 

On my older TV, that I purchased back 2013 I have a bad HDMI port where the connecter piece is loose causing the connection to go "no signal".  To be honest if issue is with the port, and you do not have an active Geek Squad Protection Plan it may be best to look into a new one.
