Getting a new TV is great! It’s bummer that you’re having issues with it rebooting often, and it’s not acting quite as you expected.
Upon setting up your new 24" Insignia Roku TV did you perform a firmware update? Often times there's been updates rolled out from the manufactures that fix weird hiccups like this since the date it was manufactured. If you skipped that during step you can back track in the menu to find the option, or you can visit their website to see if your model needs one.
Another possible cause of the issue could be unregulated power. Do you have the TV plugged into a surge protector? Unregulated power can pose a risk to your TV as highs and lows can cause it to shut off or reboot for safety.
