Your problem is not the HDMI cable - the problem is your HD.....
BUT, there is nothing you can do about it now. Full/True HD(1080p) requires a lot more bandwidth than its counterparts(720p & 1080i) that its just not economically viable for cable companies to use the higher signal. Now with the whole digital conversion coming next feb. *maybe* we will see 1080p, but I think for the "near future" count on only seeing 1080p on your blu ray player

The number after the 1080p is the frame rate. To correct motion blur TV manufacturer has come up with 120hz, it converts lets say 60fps= 60Hz to 120 fps on fast action scenes by interpolating an extra frame between every pair of frames in the signal so the display runs at 120 Hz so the scene looks smoother.
