OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit...
I have a Dell XPS 8200 system, with two USB 3.0 ports....
I have multiple Seagate GoFlex 2TB USB 3.0 drives....
-When I plug a drive directly into the computer 3.0 USB port, transfer of a folder (size of 450mb), reached speeds of 150-200mb.
-When I plug a drive into the Rocketfish 3.0 USB 4 port hub, plugged into a USB 3.0 port, transfer same folder, speeds won't go over 45mb.
-When I plug a drive into the Rocketfish 3.0 USB 3 port hub, PLUGGED into a normal USB 2.0 port, tranfer same folder, speeds stay at same
In the Computer Management of Windows, WITHOUT the hub connected I see:
NEC Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller
NEC Electronics USB Root Hub
In the Computer Management of Windows, WIT the hub connected I see:
NEC Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller
NEC Electronics USB Root Hub
NEC Electronics USB Hub
Even when I try to manually change the lastly added one, to a 3.0 driver windows accepts it, but the speeds do not change.
Please advise, because right now it seems lik this device DOES NOT WORK and I wasted my money and feel like I was decived.
Thanks,
Brian

Hello mrbeans78,
Do you have any USB 2.0 devices plugged into the hub as well? 2.0 devices plugged into a 3.0 hub will throttle all speeds down to 2.0 speeds.
