Hello icemna249,
Welcome to Community@ Rocketfish™!
My first thought is did you possibly grab a different power supply that may not be supplying the needed voltage? What is the model # for your Switch?

Jon

the model number of the 4 port selector is RF-G1185. The power supply that is connected to it is model number S006MU0500100. It says is it made for the RF-G1185, and like i said they previously worked fine. They are both warm/hot to the touch, so i assume there is power to them, but the switcher still will not turn on. There is a faint red light where the power led is now, but it only goes away when i unplug it and hitting/holding the power/select button does nothing, the light is constant, I can not choose an input.

Hello icemna249,
Thank you for responding!
When you are pressing the power button, are you holding it down for at least 2 or 3 seconds? What color is the Power LED, and are any of the numbered LED's lighting up?

Jon

Hello,
I am currently having the exact same issue with the exact same product.
I have tried my power adapter with another devie that supports the voltage is carries, and I have concluded that the adapter is working.
The switcher itself is not responding to any sort of power at all. I think it's become a dead unit. Is there any support for the device ?(I'm sure it is out of warranty at this point)
Any insight would be appreciated,
Dezzy

Hello dezzy,
Welcome to Community@ Rocketfish™!
Are you seeing any indicator lights on the unit lit up? While the unit is unplugged hold down each button for about 5-10 seconds to clear any static buildup, then reconnect and see if we get any response, or indication of power.

Jon

Thank you for your swift reply.
I most definitely have.
I've just tried what you have suggested, it still has no indicator lights showing up.
What would the next steps be at this point?

Hello dezzy,
Thank you for responding!
If the power supply is working with other equipment, but it's not giving us any indication of power, then the unit appears to have had a fault. Unfortunately with the going price of these units, replacement is going to be the most cost effective option.

Jon
