To check this, move the receiver into the same room as the transmitter and verify that it works there, then try again in the remote room. It is normal for your displays (such as TVs) to be out of sync because of the time it takes for the signal to travel through the power lines. Your displays are intended to be used in different rooms.
The HD extender connects a video source to a display in another room. This lets you watch content (both video and audio) from a DVD player, cable box, or other video device in another room or both rooms at the same time. Note: The HD extender is not intended to mirror displays in the same room. There will be a delay between your displays because of the time it takes for the single to travel through the power lines.
Use a paperclip to press the RESET buttons on your transmitter and receiver. Wait for them to re-establish a connection, select your source, and use as normal.
