I have the RF-WHTIB
Universal Wireless Rear Speaker Kit
When I lose power to the house and the power is restored, the unit emits a very loud noise from the rear speakers and I have to shut off the transmitter and turn it back on again to stop the noise. How do I prevent this from happening?

Morning, EricLieberman,
Welcome to our community! Odd electrical sounds can certainly drive you bonkers, I know they would bother me too. I’m sorry to hear that your Universal Wireless Speaker kit seems to be reacting this way.
Do you have the AC adapter for the units plugged into a power strip? This should prevent issues like this from occurring after a power surge. If you do have a power strip connected, how old is it? Do you have a newer one you could try? I look forward to your reply!
