Static buzz troubleshooting

Trying to hook up a Samsung UD tv to a Naka Light sound bar using the Rocketfish Digital Optical Audio cable. Only getting a static buzz. Any troubleshooting suggestions

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for reaching out to us.  I have a few questions for you that I hope you can answer. 

 

Does the static sound emit when you use other inputs on the soundbar?  When you disconnect the soundbar and stream media on your TV with the built-in speaker, does the sound come out clear?  Have you tried to connect your TV to the soundbar using another cable?

I am having the same issue with my Samsung TV.  I have two matching sound bars and they both work well on my Visio TV.  I am using the optic cable and while I can BT music to the sound bar from my phone, both sound bars buzz when hooked up to the optic cable.  I even tried replacng the cable and it made no difference.

Can you please clarify if you had tried a different Rocketfish optical cable? Or are you sharing that the issue is still persisting with a different brand cable?
